“It’s a Jungle Out There!” quickly became an album that fans can’t get enough of. Running a recording/producing studio while working with multiple bands, John and Dino Elefante had a plethora of rock stars around most of the time during the project.

With five lead vocalists, three drummers, four bassists and three guitarists, Mastedon includes vocalists like Dave Robbins (X-Sinner), Dave Amato (Ted Nugent, REO Speedwagon), David Pack (Ambrosia) and Perry Lee (Tracer Fox), guitarists Steff Burns (Y&T) and Dave Amato and bassists John Pierce (Richard Marx) and John Patitucci. John (lead vocals & keyboards) and Dino (rhythm guitar & bass) also.

The album delivers a great sound perfectly suited for FM radio (“Glory Bound,” “This Is The Day” and “Love That Will Survive”) along with a couple of ballads, and a progressive piece, “Right Hand.”
